Symbolic links are sort of like shortcuts, so if you had a folder called SyncMe that lived on your desktop, you'd create a symbolic link that made it appear as though SyncMe also lived. I have a suspicion that I may have to create another rule to delete those symbolic links. This would ideally be modified for other folders as well, such recently modified files on the Desktop and in Documents. I'm hoping you guys may have insight to the best approach, which I may be completely ignorant of considering my experience with Hazel. However, the online Dropbox technical support, which seems very good, offers a solution for Mac, Linux, and Windows users that involves creating a symbolic link, or shortcut, between the folder you place within your Dropbox folder and the folders desired location.
